Our Visit To Quarry Bank Mill and What’s Coming Up

Over the weekend we took a trip to Quarry Bank Mill. As National Trust members, it’s a fab and cheap day out for us! Quarry Bank Mill is perfect for families, there’s baby-changing facilities, front-carrying baby slings and hip-carrying infant seats for loan, children’s play area and (our favourite) family trails.

We packed a picnic and headed there last Sunday morning. It was the last weekend of Christmas and the New Year so we knew there would be plenty of things to see and do.

The weather wasn’t great, not that it bothered us. Wellies and waterproofs it was! We even managed to find a gazebo to sit under whilst we ate our picnic!

We were happy to find out that their Snow Queen and Jack Frost trail was still running, we actually made it on it’s last day! We walked around the gardens, following the trail of frozen creatures left by the Snow Queen and Jack Frost!

The kids were excited and ran ahead along the paths looking for the frozen creatures. Before long we found different creatures including a penguin, a fox and a frog!

As we were leaving, we picked up a Spring 2019 Events Guide and a few events caught me eye:

February Half-term- Trouble at  Mill

Spring Holidays: Right to Play
