My twins turned two in March and I wanted to make their birthday party a special event. I have never really been a fan of parties at soft play centres as I feel they are rushed and lacking individuality.
I found a venue easily enough that would fit my guests and my sister offered to make cakes for them, everything was coming together.
I started to think about entertainment and that’s when I came across A-Bambo’s Party Play Hire. They came highly recommended from a friend, so I sent them a message asking for prices and more details.
They were extremely responsive and Carly from A-Bambo’s sent me all the information I needed including the different packages and prices, they also explained how they can tailor the packages to suit your party needs.
I decided on the A-Bumper package that was suitable for up to 20 children under 5 years old and I went for the Bright Colours Theme, knowing my children would love this.
Carly kept in regular contact before the event, checking everything was correct for the party and I had the reassurance of everything running smoothly on the day.
The A-Bambo’s team arrived right on the agreed time on the day of the party and got to work. They brought all the equipment in, made sure they had enough room and started setting up. Carly even spent time cleaning the play mats and equipment before my guests arrived. I had to admit, I was pleasantly surprised at the size and amount of soft play equipment there was, it looked fab!
As part of my tailor made package, we had face painting for the children. Carly was also our face painter, she set up her table with a very impressive display of professional brushes and paints and the children started to line up. Oh wow, I have never seen face painting like this before!
My eldest went first and expected to see a list of ‘things he could have painted’, but Carly told him he could have absolutely anything. He went for Batman (which I thought was pretty boring), Carly said she does an awesome Batman and yes, she does! It was a very impressive Batman, complete with the Gotham City skyline!
By the end of the party we had beautiful unicorns with gems and glitter, a fantastic mermaid finished with a starfish gem, a pretty butterfly, a very cute puppy, the Hulk and much much more all with plenty of sparkle! Everyone was very impressed to say the least.
Oscar and Isla, my twins had a fantastic day and loved every second of it. The soft play was fantastic as was the set up and clean up. Carly and the team didn’t rush us when the party had finished, they took all the equipment down and left the room as it was. They were extremely friendly and very approachable and it was lovely to meet them, we will be meeting them again soon as we will definitely use them again for future parties.
