Review: David Gibb’s Family Jukebox

Over the weekend, we were invited to check out family musical, David Gibb’s and his Family Jukebox!

David Gibb’s Family Jukebox was presented by Little Seeds Music at The Stoller Hall at Chethams School of Music. It was a gorgeous venue, somewhere we haven’t been before.

David Gibb is a family musican and me and my family had heard some of his songs before. He is a family singer songwriter who is on a mission to write brilliant and engaging songs that will capture the imagination of both children and parents alike. He found himself frustrated at the lack of good music for families.

We’ll we had a brilliant time and loved it right of the start. There’s lots of audience interaction and joining in. On the stage was a big box, his ‘magical jukebox’ and in no time all the children were desperate to see what would come out of the box next!

It was full of catchy songs that we could all sing and dance to, drawing on a wide range of musical influences and genres including jazz, folk, reggae, and rock ‘n’ roll.

It was perfect for the whole family!

There’s plenty for children and families at Stoller Hall including Trafford Music Service’s Polar Express Concert and Stoller Story Sounds- The Chocolate Wolf at Christmas! For more information, check out What’s On!
