Everyone’s favourite kooky family are back on stage and here in Manchester in this spectacular musical comedy from the writers of multi award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, with music and lyrics by TONY AWARD nominated Andrew Lippa and starring Joanne Clifton (Strictly Come Dancing and The Rocky Horror Show) as Morticia.

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, is all grown up and has a shocking secret that only Gomez knows. She’s fallen in love with a sweet young man from a respectable family. With his cherished Morticia in the dark, will Gomez manage to keep his daughter’s secret until the two families meet for a fateful dinner with hilarious consequences?
This week I checked out The Addams Family for the press night performance at the Manchester Opera house. First thing is, wow what a set. I was really impressed with the stage and backdrops. We were transformed into the spooky Addams house!
I was also amazed with Wednesdays voice, played by Kingsley Morton. On many of occasions she blew me away. Gomez Addams okayed by Cameron Blakely was very funny throughout, but my favourite has to be Mortica portrayed by Joanne Clifton. The tango scene was my favourite, but I do love Strictly.

Overall it was great fun, perfect for any Addams family fan! But if you want to see it, you must catch it soon.
The Addams Family are here in Manchester until Saturday 23rd April, for tickets and more see here.
