We’re always singing and dancing in our house. My eldest, Joshua has recently started to learn how to play the trumpet. From an early age he has had an interest in music just like his dad. His dad is a drummer and percussionist so his interest has certainly been passed on to my children.
There are so many benefits of music for children, music ignites all areas of child development and skills including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language and overall literacy. But maybe more importantly, music for young children can be so much fun!
We were recently sent the Little Hands Music Bands gift set to try out, this set is suitable for toddlers from 12 months old.

The Halilit musical range offers high quality, accurately tuned musical instruments for young children from 3 months of age.
The set contained brightly coloured instruments that are extremely robust and hard wearing, perfect from busy toddlers! The items have chunky shapes and rounded edges which make the instruments safe even for the youngest of musicians. This set helps babies and toddlers discover a world of music, sound and rhythm.

The set comes with a baby xylophone, ocean drum, rattle roller and rainbospinner. All the instruments are lovely and bright, my toddlers eyes lit up when we opened the box.
We had lots of fun making music with these gorgeous instruments. This set would make a lovely gift. Babies and toddlers will love the bright colours and the wonderful sounds they can make. This set and more toys from Halilit can be purchased from John Lewis .
We have loved being involved in this pre-Christmas campaign, check out the Halilit video below. It certainly has the Aw Factor!
We were kindly gifted these products from Halilit in exchange for an honest review. All views are our own.
