A huge family climbing centre is now open in Oldham town centre! Great fun for the whole family and the local community.
Summit Up offers everyone a taste of rock climbing in a fun, safe environment and no previous experience and no specific climbing equipment is required.
‘Summit Up Climbing features the North of England’s highest and largest Clip ’n Climb as well as rope climbing and bouldering facilities for novice to advanced climbers. The Clip ’n Climb will feature 35 exciting challenges including fan favourite the adrenaline jumping Leap of Faith, the signature Stairway to Heaven and a thrilling 10m vertical drop slide.
There’s also a soft play area for the younger guests as well as a viewing area and cafe. Party packages, fitness classes and after school classes are available too.

Summit Up Climbing was built by Stoller Charitable Trust, founded by Sir Norman Stoller in the 1980’s. Sir Norman stated ‘It is our hope that Summit Up will connect the community and create a lasting social venue in Oldham’. All of Summit Up distributable profits will go directly to charity.
