My children were recently sent some toys to review. They absolutely love doing this and get so excited when they arrive through the post. We were recently sent some toys from Canal Toys including the Slime’licious Shaker 3 pack. We got to make our very own slime!
Slime’licious Slime Shakers 3 Pack
Kids just love slime don’t they? Playing with slime can help a child to relax, giving their minds a break. The texture, the colour, the smell- these are all part of sensory play, part of exploring as a child. Plus actually making the slime themselves aids a child’s curiosity, it’s like their performing a science experiment!
The DIY Slime kit were got was very colourful and bright. Inside the box was 3 extremely cute shakers, 1 the shape of a mini milk carton, 1 a little hot chocolate and 1 a little bubble gum machine. Joshua instantly thought they were super cool and couldn’t wait to get started and make his own scented slime.
On the box it said ‘No Mess, No Glue, Non Toxic’, definitely three sentences parents want to hear! You think ‘DIY Slime’ and you instantly think ‘Oh No the mess!” In each shaker there were some easy to follow instructions and it was really simple to do. We only needed to add some water, everything else was provided.
It was as easy as 1, 2, 3. You mix the slime powder pack with the water in the shaker cup, then you shake! Once its set you are able to decorate with the glitter and beads provided.
It was brilliant fun, Joshua loved making the slime just as much as playing with the finished product. This is definitely perfect for child who loves slime and who’s parent hates mess!

Style 4Ever Glitter Art Caddy
We were also sent the Style 4Ever Glitter Art Caddy from Canal Toys also. Although my little girls eyes lit up at the sight of it (she’s only 3 years old), I asked a friend who has older girls to review it for me.
The Glitter Art Caddy is suitable for children aged 8 and up and allows them to create their very own nail and body art with glitter, gems and tattoos.

The girls absolutely loved playing with this set, they enjoyed creating different styles and designs as they painted each other’s nails. They shared the set and played nicely taking turns at applying the glitter and stickers. A perfect set for any child who loves nail art and glitter!
This Glitter Art Caddy also got a big thumbs up from their mum. As a busy mum of 4 girls, she was over the moon that there was no mess! Fantastic!
