We were recently sent the Beaker Creatures Liquid Reactor Super Lab from Learning Resources to review and Joshua was so excited. All views are our own.

The Beaker Creatures Liquid Reactor Super Lab is suitable for ages 5 and up, so was perfect for my 6 year old son. He was super excited to get started and have a go at some science experiments.

The instructions on how to assemble were easy enough and we soon had the set are ready to go.
Once we had it all set up we were ready to extract our creature! To find out what creature is inside the colourful reactor pods, we needed to follow the instructions to create a chemical reaction.
Firstly you place a pod into the chamber and fill the plungers with water. My son certainty felt like a scientist!
As you plunge the water into the chamber, the foam pod starts to fizz up and rise! Joshua was delighted as it started to spill over! There is an overflow tray to catch any water, we also used a splash mat just in case.
Using the tongs, Joshua then lifted his Beaker Creature out of the chamber and removed it from is protective capsule. Included are classification cards where you can identify your creature!
Joshua has now decided he is going to ask Father Christmas for some Beaker Creature Reactor Pods, he wants to collect them all!
There are plenty of other experiments to try even when you have used the pods. Included in the box are instructions to make other science experiments such as Alien Slime, a Whirlpool and the Deep Blue Sea.
My son really enjoyed this set and I thought it was great too! I love the idea of the amazing science experiments, anything that helps to make learning fun is a bonus. Joshua loved it for the little creatures he gets to keep at the end, for the fizzing and the bubbling over!
