We were recently sent a baseplate and a box of building Briks from Strictly Briks to test out. When we opened them all three of my children’s eyes lit up!Strictly Briks was founded in 2014 by father of two, Brian Semling, him and his family loved playing with toy bricks. Strictly Briks encourage children to be creative in their play and gives them the opportunity to build their imagination into reality. We were sent a large green baseplate and a box full of large Briks, a 108 piece set. My children instantly got involved and started building straight away without any prompt from me. The box we were sent was recommended for ages 3 and upwards, perfect for my three year old twins. We were soon building towers, recognising colours and counting Briks onto the baseplate. The Briks were large and sturdy, they’re just as good as any premium range. I soon realised that the large Briks and baseplate was compatible with other blocks we already owned. Actually Strictly Briks work with any other major building blocks, guaranteed for a tight fit which was fantastic! Over the years we had collected lots of other sets of blocks including some Duplo sets. It was great that we could incorporate all our blocks adding to my children’s enjoyment. The kids were over the moon when I got the Duplo farm set out! We used the baseplate as grass and made a farm. Then they decided they wanted to build a bridge for the cats! What I love about Strictly Briks is how they promote creativity through play. It’s nice to watch my children just play without prompts, watching their imaginations run wild. Even my eldest joined in and has enjoyed playing with the Briks too, making rockets and the tallest of towers! These will definitely keep my children building and creating new things for many years to come. I was gifted these items, all opinions are my own.
