Earlier in the year, me and my family first heard of Wonder Adventures and their sessions for children. Wonder Adventures is all about providing creative and imaginative entertainment to families with children aged 2-10 years old. Last April we attended their Dino Disco Challenge and we had so much fun, have a read about it here.
When I heard they were running events during the October half tern I really wanted to take the kids. Unfortunately, my eldest has a different half term so couldn’t join in this time.
Myself, my twins, my friend and her two year old twins headed to Rivendell Garden Centre in Widnes for a fun afternoon. Wonder Adventures were there with their Hocus Pocus School Of Wizardry.
As we arrived we were greeted by Merlin the Wizard! The room looked great, there was plenty of props around the room including a bubbling cauldron and pumpkins! Merlin explained that all the children had come to learn how to be wizards.
We were placed into teams where we made up team manes, we were ‘TwinTastic!’ We started off by helping Merlin with his spells, each child picked an inset (plastic toy), placed it into the cauldron whilst saying a magic spell!
The children then had to complete a series of challenges and games to become real wards including catching dragons and solving wizard puzzles!
The final challenge of becoming a wizard was learning to ride a broomstick! This was lots of fun and the children really enjoyed it.
These sessions with Wonder Adventures are interactive and full of energy and always lots of fun!
We had a great afternoon and can’t wait for their next sessions starting in December….. The Elf Adventure Challenge! We will be visiting Wonder Adventures and Santa’s Elves at The Ice Cream Farm and were so excited. The Elf Adventure Challenge is an interactive, indoor experience full of fun, festive activities and action for children and adults to enjoy together where you will feel jolly, merry and full of Christmas spirit!
