For the forth year running, the formal gardens and deer park of Dunham Massey will be magically transformed and illuminated by lights!
It’s very much now a family tradition of ours, I’ve shared some of my own photos from previous years at the end of this post.
This magical winter trail even has some 2020 new installations and if you’ve been before you’ll be pleased to see some of the favourites returning!
Enter beside giant glittering deer into a world festooned with seasonal cheer enhanced by a soundtrack of festive classics. Wander beneath stunning tree canopies drenched in Christmas colour. Immerse yourself within bouncing lines of lights and discover giant luminescent sculptures rising high into the high sky.
Stroll beside colour-changing lakeside reflections and under trees dripping with silvery shards of light, baubles and stars. Huge snowflakes create an aerial kaleidoscope over the gardens and tunnel of light returns with twinkling splendour.
Complete your magical walk with spiced cider, mulled wine or hot chocolate which is available to buy throughout your experience. There’s nothing better than gathering around the fire-pit with your family and friends to toast marshmallows!
There’s even some rides and a Victorian carousel for the younger ones (charges apply) and don’t forget to look out for Father Christmas and some of his helpers!
Tickets are now available but you need to be quick. Find out more information about prices and to book see here.
National Trust members receive free parking. There is a FAQ section on the National Trust website which can be found here.
Have a look at some of our family photos from previous years when we have visited. Last year we have been invited to their press opening event of Christmas at Dunham, read about it here.
