RNCM Children’s Opera Project: The Hammer Of Thor.

Thursday 15th November at 2pm and 7pm – RNCM Theatre.

Based on Norse mythology, this year’s Children’s Opera Project is a tale of power, adventure, ogres and heroes.  Asgard, the beautiful kingdom of the Norse Gods, is continually under attack by powerful enemies. Only one thing keeps them at bay – the Hammer of Thor, son of Odin. Thor’s hammer is strong enough to defeat the strongest foe. One day, however he realises it has gone missing….

The RNCM Children’s Opera project brings together 150 children from Manchester primary schools to create and perform a new opera, guided by a professional composer and supported by RNCM musicians.

FREE admission, by ticket only. For more information and booking see here.
