Family Friendly Events With The Royal Northern College Of Music

The Royal Northern College of Music is not only a place of study, the RNCM is also a vibrant live music venue! There’s lots going on during the year, including concerts and events for families.
Make sure you check out their Spring 2019 Brochure which you can download now.
We have enjoyed several Young Explorers concerts including Mother Goose and Hocus Pocus. The RNCM Young Explorers is a series of concerts throughout the year designed to introduce young people to the magical world of music.

What’s On For Families:

RNCM Young Explorers: The Showstoppers’ Kids Show
Sunday 23 June 2.00pm
Olivier Award-winning West End improvisers, The Showstoppers create an improvised musical from scratch right before your very noses. Everything is made up on the spot entirely from your suggestions, but grown-ups take heed – they ONLY take suggestions from kids!

If your children could create their very own dream musical – where would they start? A doll’s house? A magic castle? A spooky graveyard? From their imagination onto the stage, The Showstoppers will bring their ideas to life, turning them into a marvellous, musical adventure. Audience participation is definitely encouraged!

Suitable for ages 6 and above
Tickets £12 / under-16s £6
Family ticket (4 people) £30
