Festive Outdoor Trails for the Whole Family

This Christmas is going to be like no other! With lots of things cancelled and indoor places closed (especially here in Greater Manchester), many people will be spending a lot more time outdoors.

I love wrapping up and going for a winter walk. And I love a good trail to keep the kids entertained along the way!

Here’s some festive outdoor trails for the whole family, many are free events! Don’t forget that some require booking and always socialise in your bubble.

This December look out for 10 decorated reindeer sculptures dotted around well-known locations in Oldham town centre. Each reindeer has its on name and theme, look out for them until 4th January’s. Check out Oldham councils website for a map of the trail.

There’s a glorious free light trail around Manchester City Centre. With designs featuring a giant walkthrough bauble, a Manchester Bee and a fabulous giant Santa, they’re hard to miss!

Over the summer we hunted dinosaurs in the wood, it was great fun!
