I love giving personalised gifts as presents, especially books for children. A personalised children’s book always suprises the child who receives it, they can’t believe to see their own name in the book!
From The Sewer to the Stars is a children’s personalised book with a difference and I was lucky enough to get my hands on a copy for Joshua my eldest. Keep reading to find out how you can win one too in time for Christmas!
I have mentioned before how Joshua is a little bookworm at the moment. He’s 7 years old and absolutely loves to read which is great. His favourite things to ring is Harry Potter, David Walliams books, Roald Dahl and he loves comics. What interested me into reviewing this book was how Joshua would be the hero in his own book, like a superhero!

I ordered the book online via Watadventure and personalising the book was simple enough. As well as writing the child’s name, you are able to chose an avatar which was pretty cool! Once selected, a preview of the front cover pops up and I was impressed with how it would look.
When the book arrived I was even more impressed. It was larger than I’d expected (A4 size) and the cover was hardback, it looked great. Joshua was extremely excited when he saw his name and avatar.
The book is no ordinary book, it’s not just a simple storybook. There’s 66 pages of adventure, learning and activities. The theme of the book is about saving the planet and your child, together with the Watadventurers, will not be defeated!

Joshua got straight into the book and particularly enjoyed the two-epic personalised eco-adventure stories. They are in a comic-book style layout and it thought they were fantastic, he’s already read them several times over.

As well as the stories, there is many pages to not only inspire and encourage our children to look after the world around them but also to look after their mind and body.

There’s activity and information pages all about saving the planet, recycling and climate change plus lovely pages encouraging children to try yoga and to focus on being kind to their mind.
