Halloween and Half Term Trails in Greater Manchester

You probably know by know that me and my family (especially me!) absolutely LOVE a trail! They keep the kids happy when we’re Out and About and they can be so much fun. The kids love them as there’s usually a prize at the end from stickers to colouring sheets and sometimes chocolate!

Check out these SPOOOOOKY Halloween trails to keep you and your children super busy this half term!

THE OLDHAM OWL PROWL TRAIL!

From Saturday 26th October at Gallery Oldham, OL1 1AL

You’ll have a hoot! Find the Oldham Owls hidden around the Gallery to solve the magic word! Pick up a FREE trail sheet and enter into the autumn prize draw, you might win a goody bag.


SPOOKY SCARECROW TRAIL

Friday 25th October 4pm- 31st October Midnight. Around Lees and Springhead for Whit Band Funds.

Collect and return competition sheet/map from Lees Co-Op or Lees Library £2 a map. Join in the fun this half term and follow the map to find the spooky scarecrows from children’s books. Halloween treat for all entrants, all correct entries will be entered into a prize draw!


HALLOWEEN SPOOKY TRAIL

Friday 25th October – Sunday 3rd October around Diggle, Saddleworth.

Collect your trail sheets from the Gate Inn, Grandpa Greene’s or Wooly Knits Shop. £2 per trail, chocolate treat for all children at the end of the trail.


SPOOKY TREASURE HUNTS

Thursday 24th and Wednesday 31st October between 10.30am and 12.30pm at intu Trafford Centre.

Collect your treasure hunt map free from the Customer Service Desk and all will be revealed! No tricks, only TREATS this Halloween!


LET’S EXPLORE! GNOME TRAIL

Monday 21st October – Sunday 3rd November during opening hours (not open Friday and Saturdays)

Scary gnomes take over Ordsall Hall! See if you can find them all and solve their riddles. £2 drop-in.


Autumn Trails/Half Term

SHARK TRAIL AT IKEA MANCHESTER

Saturday 19th October – Sunday 3rd November during store opening hours.

There’s a whole shiver of sharks hiding in the store – in surprising situations and around unexpected corners. Mark the letters of the map! FREE event, no booking.

PERCY THE PARK KEEPER: AFTER THE STORM

Saturday 7th September – Sunday 10th November at Dunham Massey Gardens.

Pick up a map and follow the interactive trail around the garden as you seach for new homes for Percy’s friends. After waking up to find the old oak tree blown over due to the story, all Percys’s friends have no where to live!

FREE event, pick up your ticket from visitor reception. Normal admissions apply for car park and entrance. See National Trust website for more information.
