This week is National Feet Week and I have kindly been sent a lovely pamper box so I can treat my feet. Over the years I haven’t really taken much notice or any real care with my feet but maybe I should be doing!

As a busy outdoorsy mum, a lover of Yoga and a new fan of running I am on my feet all day long. If I don’t have my walking boots on then I’m probably wearing running shoes, but I rarely give my feet a treat. I love a soak in the bath, use face masks most weeks, moisturise with body butters but never think of my feet.

National Feet Week takes place every year. This week aims to encourage people to prioritise foot health, we are good at keeping up to date with dental and eye checks but tend to neglect our feet which are key to our wellbeing. Many people ignore common foot complaints rather than go to see an expert, I know I have done in the past. A podiatrist can help with all manner of foot conditions, it’s so important to take care of our feet.
Tonight I will be joining in with #NationalFeetWeek Twitter Party where we will be talking everything feet related. I will be sharing in with the general chat, they’ll be competitions to win plus I will be showing you more of my pamper parcel!
As a child I suffered with problems with my feet and for a time I had to wear toe separators whilst my feet where growing. More recently after the birth of my first child, I suffered terribly with ingrowing toenails. For quite a while I just lived with the pain until finally having the nails removed.

I haven’t tried every product yet but here’s a few of my favourite ones already-

I love Dr PawPaw Shea Butter Balm. It’s a multipurpose soothing balm, brilliant for dry and chapped lips, cuticles plus dry cracked skin on hands, heels, elbows and knees. It’s also 100% natural, suitable for Vegans, Cruelty Free, Vegeterian Friendly, Gluten Free made from Ethically Sourced Ingredients. This is perfect to pop in my handbag.
I also love Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Foot Magic, and Foot Scrub. Since receiving my pamper parcel, I’ve been using this products each night after a relaxing bath and in the mornings before I put on socks. They not only smell lovely but they make my tired feet feel lovely and soft.

I can’t wait to give all the products a try and have happy feet!
