This Saturday the Summer Reading Challenge 2022 is launching, which is themed Gadgeteers – think all things science, technology, engineering and maths!
Saturday 23rd July, 11 – 3, Oldham Library and Gallery, FREE, drop-in.
The challenge is for primary aged children to read 6 books in their summer holidays and they will be awarded incentives like stickers, bookmarks and medals along the way.
The Summer Reading challenge takes place between Saturday 23rd July until Saturday 17th September 2022.
Sign Up Saturday! celebrates the launch of the Summer Reading Challenge and is a great opportunity for children to sign up and join in.
There’ll be lots of amazing activity including lego robotics, slime workshops, gadgety music makers and motor sponge art. A day jam packed full of excitement, innovation and creativity.
All activities are FREE, drop-in and FANTASTIC FUN. Come and help us to kick off the Summer Reading Challenge with a great big bang. We can’t wait to inspire reading with you.
