Me and my children were recently given the opportunity to try out some fun educational apps for children. We were gifted a 3 month subscription in return of an honest review. My children were really excited and I was over the moon too. I love anything that helps make learning fun!
The apps we tried out were KidloLand, Kidlo Coding and Kindergarten Math.
KidloLand
KidloLand is a fantastic app for twins. They are two and a half years old and they love this app. The app is full of their favourite nursery rhymes and learning songs. Each song and game are colourful, fun and bright grabbing my children’s attention.
My favourite thing about this app is how the KidloLand Nursery Rhymes are interactive. So unlike internet videos, your child have press the screen and interactive with the app rather than just stare at a screen!
My kids love the Monster game on this app. They quickly learnt they need to click and drag the shapes of fruit and place them back into the correct places.
They love feeding the monsters and saying what fruit he’s eating!
Kidlo Coding
My eldest has been playing this and he has been whizzing through some of the first stages. He says he’s really enjoyed playing the coding games.
Coding is a set of instructions given to complete a task, so for example in the screenshot below, Joshua needs to tell the helicopter the directions needed to get to the helipad.
Joshua does basic coding at school now, teachers believe coding is an essential skill to have for later life.
This app teaches kids the basic of programming with sequences, loops and functions in such a fun and exciting way.
Kindergarten Maths
My toddler twins have also loved this app too. They love the paint by numbers. It’s easy to use but also it makes learning fun which is always important for me.
They love any bright and colourful, and that what you get with these games. There is something for everyone.
We have really enjoyed trying out these apps. These games have been the first interaction my twins have had with a tablet. I love when learning can be fun. I do limit screen time but all three of them have been great taking turns and trying out the games.

Out and about mummy 
The coding and maths one in particular looks really good – it’s never too early for them to start. I’m useless at maths, so was really keen that my children had the opportunity to learn from a young age. They played electronic apps on my ipad, and it’s really paid off. They are 11 and 9 and doing really well 🙂
