Oldham LIVE

Saturday 25th August, 12pm-10pm

Enjoy a spectular free family entertainment and music festival held in the very heart of Oldham town centre. Oldham Council have teamed up with Revolution96.2 to put on a day packed with family fun and something for all ages!

Oldham LIVE kicks off at 12noon until 4pm with Sid Sloane, CBeebies’ longest serving presenter plus much much more. Then live music gets underway from arounf 6pm until 10pm.

Oldham LIVE will take place in Parliment Square, the stage will be located under the three owls at the bottom of the new public space in Oldham between the Old Town Hall and Spindles Shopping Centre. No tickets are required, just turn up! More information can be found here.

Summer Of Fun Superhero and Princesses at Cockfields Farm.

Friday 24th August to Monday 27th August.

Meet your Favourite Superheroes and Princesses down on the farm throughout the day. Your little ones can also wash a pig, cuddle a guinea pig, groom a bunny, meet the snakes & lizards, goat racing, feed the ducks and lots lots more. There’s also a large free car park, cafe, picnic area, indoor & outdoor play, beach area & gift shop.

Sunday 26th August, 12-3pm. FREE event.

Let’s Go To The Beach at The Trafford Centre.

Everyday until Sunday 2nd September,

The beach is open every Monday – Saturday 10am-7pm and Sunday 11am-6pm. Visiting the beach and use of the deckchairs is FREE (other activities have a charge).

This summer head outside the great hall with your little ones for some beachside fun! They can play with the buckets and spades whilst you relax in the deckchairs! Check out here what other activities are available at the summer hub.

Toddler Outdoor Art Club

Free, every Saturday 10am-12pm, drop in event, no need to book!

Workshops that bring art, nature and creativity together that take place come rain or shine. or children under 5 and their grown ups. Free event at Whitworth Art Gallery.

Come To The Beach at Heaton Park.

Every day until 2nd September, 12noon-5pm, FREE entry- charges apply for the rides.

Carousel Fun Fairs have brought the North Wests biggest mobile beach to Heaton Park . There’s a fun filled family fun fair with a giant beach area complete with deck chairs, buckets and spades, face painting, chidlren’s entertainment and character appearences at the weekend.

Saturday 25th August, 1pm-2pm at Radcliffe Leisure Centre.

Sunday 26th August, 11am-12pm at Boothstown Village Hall, Worsley.

There will be at least 13 multi sensory messy activities to explore. Suitable for ages 6months to 5years, older siblings to age 10 can enjoy big kids create and make area. See here for more information.
