Wow, well it’s definitely now the countdown to Christmas! Have you started you Christmas shopping? Or do you like to leave it until the last minute?
October has seen some gorgeous autumn weather, Halloween and my birthday! I had a lovely birthday spent in Blackpool. We had fish and chips by the sea, doughnuts and of course we walked through the Illuminations!

Swimming Nature
This month Joshua was offered a couple of lessons with Swimming Nature and local programme manager Olympian Jessica Lloyd. He’s been loving the lessons and improving so much. Keep an eye out for my full review and details on how to get a discount!
Manon Ballet
Earlier in the month me and a friend headed to The Manchester Opera House to see the English National Ballet; Manon. I’d never seen a ballet before, check out my review here, it was a fantastic evening and I hope to see a ballet again soon.
Hocus Pocus: RNCM
This was a lovely family event. Me, my husband and the three kids headed to The Royal Northern College of Music a few weekends ago. The kids especially enjoyed it, the music was extremely impressive, read more now.
Cockfields Farm Pumpkin Festival
We love visiting Cockfields Farm and visiting over Halloween definitely didn’t disappoint! The pumpkin festival was fab, check out all our photos here. We can’t wait to visit again soon for the Christmas Experience!
Play Factore Halloween Party
Me and my family were looking enough to be invited to the Play Factore’s Halloween party: Harry Potter and the Petrifying Play Factore. Well, wow it was a great event! We loved it and had some much fun. Keep an eye out for my post coming soon!
Hocus Pocus School of Wizardry
Last week we headed to Rivendell Garden Centre in Widnes so the kids can attend Wizard School! It was so much fun, read all about it now!
Ordsall Hall and Salford Museum and Art Gallery
This week during the October half term we’ve had lots of fun exploring new places and museums. We’ve visited Ordsall Hall and Salford Museum and Art Gallery.
Mamma Treats
Earlier this month I was kindly sent a gorgeous smelling box from Mamma Treats filled with goodies and healing products for a busy mum just like myself. I have been using the products over the last few weeks, keep a look out for my review soon!
