We headed to Cockfields Farm on the first day of the Easter half term. We love visiting Cockfields and the kids were extremely excited! For information about what’s on for the Easter Wonderland event, tickets and booking see here.
The kids ran in and we decided to head straight to the events and activities barn- Easter Wonderland.
The kids were excited about doing an egg hunt and decorating chocolate eggs, but I was so impressed with how the barn had been decorated. Easter Wonderland looked absolutely amazing, just check out the photo below!
The kids were very eager to do the egg hunt so that’s what we started with. At the entrance, they all were given a colourful basket. Every child had to find 4 eggs of 1 colour in order to claim your chocolate egg to decorate. The kids had lots of fun searching high and low (and even crawling through tunnels of hay).
Next, they handed their eggs in and got a chocolate egg in return to decorate with icing! This kept them pretty happy for quite a while. Once they had decorated them, we headed to see the Easter show.
As always, the show was great. They are shown several times throughout the day and always consist of some singing and dancing. The kids loved it!
After having our picnic and taking part in some Easter arts and crafts, we decided to feed the animals including bottle feeding the baby goats!
There was plenty to do throughout the day on top of the Easter activities. The kids also rode the tractors, played on the beach, bounced on the bouncy pillow, cuddled the rabbits and guinea pigs, held the chicks, bathed a tortoise, held a snake, played on ride-on cars and in the role play area (to name a few other activities).
As always we had a fantastic day out, we arrived just before 11am and left before 4pm, it’s definitely a full day out. You can read about the other events we have been to at Cockfield Farm here, including Hogfields School of Wizardry!
