Family Friendly Afternoon Tea At Tea, Cakes and Tiaras.

I love afternoon tea, well who doesn’t love tea and cake! It feels like a treat but it can be expensive and it can be very unchild friendly!

But definitely not at Tea, Cakes and Tiaras in Ashton-under-Lyne. I remember them opening, my twins were only a few months old. Emma, the owner is extremely friendly and fantastic with children!

Over the past two years me and my family have been several times and we always have a lovely experience. It’s very child friendly which means us parents can relax a little more and not worry about the kids making too much noise or mess.

Yesterday, we visited Tea, Cakes and Tiaras with some friends. The kids were so excited when Emma came to take their order. The older boys asked for millshakes and wow were they impressed!

My 2 and a half year old twins asked for juice and they were over the moon to get a teapot of juice each! They had lots of fun drinking from a big cup like mummy!

The kids all got a range of sandwiches and cakes! They ate every last crumb! Our older boys even got seconds with some more sandwiches and a second milkshake! Really good for your wallet too, all this for only a fiver a child! Emma even offers a twin discount with us fab for us multiple mummy’s.

Adults also get a range of sandwiches and plenty of cakes and a scone. There’s unlimited hot drinks too which is fab! Great value for money and yummy.

Emma came round with colouring pencils and some Christmas decorations whilst we waited for our food. She gave the children 2 each to colour in, one to take home and one to stay in the tea rooms for their Christmas tree that’s going up soon. I thought this was a fantastic idea and the kids enjoyed doing it, even the adults had fun too!

Too seems to much trouble at Tea, Cakes and Tiaras. Emma is always friendly and brilliant with the kids. Isla was over the moon to get a little sparkly glitter before we left.
