Hello February!

What a long first month that’s been! We’re well over Christmas now as we enter February. This month is my 8th wedding anniversay which I can’t believe! What a fast 8 years it has been. I have to share a lovely photo with you of our special day.

Next month I will have three year old twins! The last three years have flown by and I have to admit I am gutted they are turning three. They are no longer my babys and will be starting nursery at the beginning of April.

February is one step closer to Spring and the warmer months, but not quite yet. We have had some snow this week! The kids have has so much fun playing out in it and I’m sure there’s more to come.

January has been a good month. I have started FitMum fitness classes and I’m feeling good. They are tough but fun and I’m hoping I keep going and feeling motivated. Oscar and Isla started Toddler Sense classes which have been brilliant! We have so much fun and have booked for next term. Joshua has become a real bookworm and since Christmas Day he’s read 10 books, including David Walliam’s The Midnight Gang and 9 out of 10 Captain Underpants Books! We are so happy and proud he is loving the magic of reading at the minute and that his interest in books stays with him.

You may remember that we moved into our new home just before Christmas. We are all settled in and are loving living in our new home.  This week my husband has ripped out the bathroom and is redecorating and putting in a new suite. I can’t wait for it to be finished.

Best Bits Of Jan:

Buckt Box

This month we recieved our first ever Buckt box. Buckt is the UK’s only tickets and activities subscription box. Every month, Greater Manchester subscribers get 5 mystery things to do in the region delivered straight to their door in one of the Buckt Boxes. Already this month me and my husband have been Axe Throwing which was so much fun. My sister and I also recently attended our very first meditation class after getting the tickets in the first box. Both activties were things we would never done before but now would definitely do again! Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to follow our advertures with Buckt box.

Rocky Horror Show

Earlier this month, my sister and I saw the Rocky Horror Show at The Opera House and it was fantastic! We are massive fans of the film but this was our first time seeing the live show. Check out my review now.

Nutcracker and I

We have been back to the Royal Nothern College of Music this month, we went to see The Nutcracker and I. Me, Joshua and his Grandma loved the concert, it was so magical and extrememly clever as it used animation and digital technology. Have a read of the full review here and check our their Spring 2019 brochure for what’s on. This month you and your little ones can enjoy another of the Young Explorers Concert Mother Goose, more infomation here.

Jersey Boys

Last week, me and friend headed to the Palace Theatre to see Jersey Boys. Once again I was invited to the Press Night and we had a fantastic evening. The musical is brilliant, a must-see! It’s on until 16 Feb, so if you haven’t seen it – go and see it! And if you have seen it – go and see it again!

Tinpo

The kids recently got introducted in CBeebies new TV show Tinpo after I was asked to check out some of the new episodes. We have enjoyed watching them and now the kids can’t get enough of it! They love to watch it before breakfast and when we’re in need of a little donwtime before bed. You can read our full review now and find out when your little ones can watch it too.
